Miranda Puente’s passion for yoga and teaching began in 2006. Her instruction is pure and has the power to move you… mind, body and soul. With an impressive background of training under some of the most beloved and well respected instructors in yoga who have inspired her include, Kay Kay Clivio and Yogi Charu of Pure Yoga, in New York City. Miranda’s curriculum focuses on practice of asana and alignment, teaching practicum and development, introduction to pranayama and meditation, yoga ethics and philosophy, basic sanskrit and chanting and the business of yoga. She also studied Yoga Tune Up®, an Anatomy course created by Jill Miller. Most recently, she traveled on a yoga retreat to Nicaragua where she assisted Amanda Walsh, a yoga teacher and friend, with an inspiring retreat.
Miranda will guide you, encourage you and work towards discovering what your body is possible of, as well as creating personal fitness goals to fulfill your needs.
Her mantra is creating balance in life. With a background working in corporate America in Human Resources, Operations and Business Development, she knows the importance of maintaining a work life and spiritual life.
Her sessions have the power to make you smile, make you cry but never leave you unfulfilled. Whether you are in a group class or in a one-one-one session Miranda is able to give her students important attention that helps them gain strength and confidence. She would like to change the face of yoga by encouraging everyone that they too, can do it.
Miranda earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Incarnate Word. Family and friends from her hometown in San Antonio are the root of her values and beliefs.
